Today, we're introducing the DJI O4 Ground Station—a long-range transmission system built to keep your fleet connected, reliably and continuously, even where networks don't reach.

The Communication Barrier, Removed

The O4 Ground Station addresses the signal limitations that have historically restricted wide-area drone operations. By integrating a high-performance RF unit, a 12-antenna omnidirectional array, and automatic multi-band selection into a maintenance-free, all-weather package, this system doesn't just extend your operational range—it redefines what's possible for unattended, continuous operations.

When paired with DJI Matrice 400, transmission range reaches up to 40 kilometers. When deployed alongside DJI Dock 3, coverage extends up to 30 kilometers from the ground station.

Two Modes, Unlimited Possibilities

Gateway Mode: Network-Connected Wide Coverage

Gateway Mode connects the O4 Ground Station directly to DJI FlightHub 2 via Ethernet or the DJI Cellular Dongle 2. This removes the requirement for the station to sit next to a specific Dock 3, allowing strategic deployment where signal reinforcement is needed most.

Key capabilities include:

• Direct FlightHub 2 Integration—Low-latency, high-bandwidth video transmission and remote control from anywhere within coverage range
• Signal Map—Post-flight data visualization that highlights weak coverage zones, enabling precise, data-driven deployment decisions
• Virtual Cockpit—Remote manual control of aircraft from within FlightHub 2, allowing operators to override preset routes on demand

Relay Mode: Offline Reach Beyond the Network

In areas without internet connectivity—valleys, obstructed corridors, or remote industrial sites—Relay Mode maintains the communication link. Position the station at an elevated point to extend video transmission range beyond what conventional infrastructure allows.

Relay Mode supports: DJI Dock 3, Matrice 400, Matrice 4E, Matrice 4T, Matrice 4D/4TD, and DJI FlyCart 100.

A multi-device rotation function allows a single station to service multiple aircraft sequentially, enabling fast turnarounds and significantly improving hardware utilization across your fleet.
